How to Sell a Product Online

I rarely write articles specific to somebody else's products or websites, but in this case, I had to. Why? Simple. This website, and the related sales materials, are hands down some of the very best that I have seen in quite some time. This guy knows how to sell a product!

Not only is the sales material and the whole approach absolutely first-rate, the product itself is one of my favorite internet marketing tools. It's an absolutely killer new piece of software that revolutionizes search engine optimization.

Seriously. Visit the website and take a look at how this guy sells his product.

The wording and structure of the sales letter itself is terrific. He uses plenty of superlatives, includes tons of endorsements, has extensive feature lists and comparisons to his competition, and liberally uses screenshots to show you what the product looks like. He also includes some of his own results with the software, to show you that it really works as advertised.

But what really sets this apart is the inclusion of the video files, so you can see firsthand what this software does, how to work it, and how to make use of the results. I'm sure some other people will pick up on this quickly and start doing it, but this particular site is by far the best example of it I've seen thus far.

The videos are crystal clear, and in fact after I bought the software I went back to the sales site and watched a couple of them over again to quickly get up to speed on a couple of projects and features that I wanted to test out.

Now he has even gone one better. I recently received an email informing me that he now gives away a free search engine optimization ebook that affiliates can customize with their own links. Actually, the ebook is pretty close to the user's manual for the software, but it gives you a great introduction to search engine optimization, and educates you to the virtues of his product all in one shot, and it's a great sales mechanism, since affiliates can customize it and give it away.

In case you're wondering, yes, I bought the software myself, and can attest that it is a killer app! It combines the best features of its top competitors, is pretty to look at and dirt-simple to use, and it works.

I had the thing installed and running in only a few minutes, and immediately found some new link partners for one of my sites, and figured out why another of my sites is buried in the search engine results pages.
